A popular hangout for young people, Brigade Road is famous for electronic items such as televisions, refrigerators, music systems, computers, washing machines; garments; crockery and footwear while Residency Road is known for some of the famous emporiums like Gangotri, Uttar Pradesh Government Handicrafts Showroom; Mrignayani, Madhya Pradesh Government Emporium; Utkalika, Orissa Government Handicrafts Emporium and Gurjari, Gujarat State Handicrafts Emporium.
